We
started by scoping competitors for their marketing materials
and showing our clients how the bar of graphic design and
literature had been raised, even in their sector.
We
sold them on the idea of producing a set of three guides that
would cover three main areas: corporate accounting, business
start-ups & personal taxation. The guides were designed
to offer information about key subjects and were designed
as quality booklets that would work as reference points for
readers.
It
was important to write the technical information in non-accountancy
language. We structured the ‘story’ of each booklet
and wrote a synopsis for every section. The client then wrote
their free quality advice and we shaped the final text, so
that those with no interest in accountancy would actually
want to read the information.
