EXHIBIT
BRIEF To produce an exhibit for National Science Week held at the National Maritime Museum.

  APPROACH

The exhibit had to promote the image of the company, help explain the technology contained within their cable products, be consistent with the mission values of the museum, be entertaining - and be produced in six weeks!

Our approach was to show how the company's product touched the daily lives of visitors to the museum. Our interative exhibit simulated web conversations between New York and London and used animated science stores to tell the story of modern telecommunications and the client’s part within it. There was a model of the Atlantic Ocean bed, featuring volcanoes and mountains.

We also produced exhibit guides for visitors aged under 11, and 11 and over. These used information that was part of the National Curriculum and helped teachers create lessons based around visits to the exhibits.

RESULTS The bright, animated displays and model now return every year. Both the client and the museum loved the approach to make visitors aware of how their modern world is being shaped by man and nature. The exhibit is now on permanent display at the Telegraph Museum, Cornwall.
