COMMUNICATIONS PROCESS

All TALENT LAB communications' projects follow the same four basic development stages:

AUDIT
PLAN
ACTION
FEEDBACK

Audit: Find out what your company is already saying, how it is saying it and what works best. Don't do anything without this information. Now do the same for your competitors. Identify your targets. Get agreement from all departments and keep your messages consistent.

Plan: Gather together all interested parties to develop strategy. This is especially important when you are using more than one channel - and departments - to reach an audience. Time spent now will save budget later on.

Action: Find the most effective ways of reaching your audience - and that does not always mean the most expensive. Audience thinking can change the way you do business, both inside and outside your company.

Feedback: Set measurable objectives for any campaign. Use these to measure success and your next steps. Keep databases up to date, ready for follow-on actions. Keep everyone informed of how the campaign is doing and what needs to be done to improve it.
