Transforming events into connected communities and opportunity engines
Let our experience of hosting over 1,000 business networking events to help you unlock the value of your community
Our clients
From membership and professional associations, legal and finance firms, Talent Lab can help any client in any sector transform its events to become catalysts to connections.
The challenge
Many organisations and companies use events as marketing tools to attract new prospects to their brand. But attendees can often leave feeling the event didn’t match the potential. Post Covid, many employees ties to their employers are weaker as the number and quality of connections to others across the company are lost through remote working. Talent Lab can help turn your events into real power houses of personal and business development.
How we help
Talent Lab’s creation of Urbano Network stems from over two decades of expertise in fostering B2B communities in Shoreditch. Co-Founder Mark Herring, also known as the “Connector-in-Chief,” has curated more than 1,000 events, ranging from speaker breakfasts focusing on sustainability, ESG, procurement, and supply chain opportunities.
Many of Urbano’s speakers, such as George Clarke, Kevin McCloud, Nicola Horlick and Loyd Grossman, have led to 30,000 business people attending one or more event, but for Mark the focus has always been on using events to make vital introductions using prior knowledge of attendees. His approach has been at the heart of Urbano and its role in helping its members and associates find value through networking. He is now offering those skills to help business and organisations ensure their attendees leave armed with new opportunities.
Talent Lab can help you realise the full potential of your events by:
- Training event teams in the art and science of facilitating a networking event.
- Creating internal networking programmes to boost connections between employees and their employers.
- Host evenings of fun, laughter and energy, with companies and departments energised and empowered.
- Use internal Networking Circles to help your company find and develop new work-winning opportunities.
With the decrease in human interactions since Covid and lockdowns, making the most of each human interaction is more important than ever. Conversations and connections have the power to impact positively across any company or organisation, from sales and account management to brand, culture and employee wellbeing.
